This is super easy!! I found this recipe in our newspaper one day. It’s more of a chili-spaghetti rather than your traditional Italian-spaghetti.
1lb. ground beef
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, stems and pieces, drained
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 pkg. (7 oz.) thin spaghetti, broken into pieces
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
In a large Dutch oven pot (or regular pot), brown hamburger; drain. Add remaining ingredients except cheddar cheese. Stir and heat mixture to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until spaghetti is tender – about 25-30 minutes. A small amount of water can be added if necessary. Sprinkle with cheese, cover and heat until melted.
